Derry City v St Pats

Bray Wanderers v Cork City

Bray looked doomed already after just taking 1 point from their first 7 games. The result at Bohs last Friday will have done no favours for their confidence having conceded a 90th minute goal to lose 2-1 to another side that were also struggling for results. Cork have dropped points in 2 out of their last 4 games, losing to Dundalk & drawing with Limerick. Sadlier, Cummins & Sheppard will be relishing coming up against a side who have conceded 18 goals already and an away win is surely on the cards here.

Betting prediction: Cork City Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ 3/4

Dundalk v Bohemians

Dundalk are on a remarkable run of clean sheets kept with 7 in 7 their current record and you'd have to fancy them to make it 8 on Friday night as they welcome a struggling Bohs. The Lilywhites won 2-0 away to Sligo last Saturday night after an early scare. Patrick Hoban & Michael Duffy got the goals on the night and will once again be at the forefront of Dundalk's attacking play on Friday night. After a slow start in front of goal, they have 7 goals between them and may well add to their tally in Oriel Park.

Betting prediction: Dundalk Win To Nil @ 10/11 / Over 2.5 Goals @ 3/4

Limerick v Waterford

Limerick have had their ups and downs so far this season. They've suffered heavy away defeats but managed a good performance at home to champions Cork in a 1-1 draw. They'll have to reproduce that level of performance against a strong Waterford side who can count themselves unlucky to have 2 defeats to their name so far this season. They bounced back from the disappointment of losing late on to Dundalk by beating an in-form Shamrock Rovers at home. Courtney Duffus scored both goals that night and is shaping to be an importnat signing for The Blues.

Betting Prediction: Waterford To Win @ 3/4 / Correct Score 0-2 @ 15/2

Shamrock Rovers v Sligo Rovers

Shamrock Rovers fell to a 2-1 away defeat to Waterford last Friday. Two quickfire yellow cards for Ally Gilchrist hampered their cause that night and they'll view this game as a must-win to keep in touch with the top 3. Sligo failed to score in just their 2nd game in 7 at home to a mean Dundalk defence last week. Adam Morgan will pose a threat to the home side's defence no doubt and you wouldn't rule them out to grab a goal in this one.

Betting prediction: Both Team To Score @ Evens / Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/8
