Bohemians v Sligo RoversBohs have struggled badly since the highs of their opening day victory over Shamrock Rovers. They haven't scored in their last 3 games, losing each game 1-0. Sligo picked up a big away win at Bray thanks to two goals from Caolan McAleer and won't be without a chance of getting at least a point from this. While Bohs have trouble scoring at the moment, Sligo haven't kept a clean sheet so far this season so we feel a punt on both teams to score could be good value.
Betting Prediction: Both Teams To Score @ 11/10
Derry City v Bray WanderersDerry started life off at the new Brandywell in the right fashion by beating Limerick 5-0 on Monday night. A hat-trick from 19-year-old Ronan Hale inspired The Candystripes to their 2nd win of the season and you really would have to fancy them to make it 3 wins on Friday night. Bray haven't won a point since the opening day draw to Dundalk. They've conceded 11 goals so far and a trip to a buoyant home side back in their own home isn't ideal.
Betting Prediction: Derry Win @ 8/15 / Derry Asian Handicap -1 @ 10/11
Limerick v Cork CityLimerick suffered another big away defeat in Derry on Monday night. They've now conceded 14 goals already this season and you'd have to feel that it won't get much better for them with the visit of champions Cork. Sheppard, McNamee, Buckley, Cummins & Sadlier could terrorise this shaky defence if they really go for it!
Betting Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/20 / Cork CIty Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ 19/20
Shamrock Rovers v St Pats
Rovers banged in 12 goals in 2 games before they travelled to Cork on Monday night. They left the game with nothing but created chances including a late Luke Byrne header off the bar. Pats have had mixed results so far, winning two away games to Bray & Bohs and drawing with title chasing Dundalk. They've lost to Waterford & Cork but will be pretty satisfied with their start you'd imagine. This could be a tight one for large parts but you'd just have to fancy Rovers to shave it should they turn on the attacking power.
Betting Prediction: Shamrock Rovers Win @ 9/10 / Correct Score 2-0 @ 8/1
