We head to Leopardstown tonight and the action stats with finding the winner in the 7.25 and a few more tips for the rest of the card

Apprentice Handicap at 7.25 is where the tipping actions starts tonight and TEXAS RADIO is where we will be getting of to a flyer. A winner at Gowran on his penultimate start, following up at the same track over the same 7f trip didnt work out a few days ago but a quick reappearance suggests that connection feel he is on the top of his game and the extra furlong could bring about a truer run. He remains high enough in the weights but again, to appear again so soon could be a tip in itself

In the 6f handicap at 8.30 Blairmayne is going to be a keen favourite and I wouldn't put anyone off backing him, however, you know by know if you are a regular reader I'm not a fan of the shorties, so let's cast an eye at the chance of  Leath Na Hoibre who is rather less considered as the outsider at 18/1. A winner on handicap debut at Curragh over today's trip he got himself a 5lb penalty and then raced in some much better events since, seeing his mark increase along the way. Dropped to 5f at Cork last time in May, the return to 6f in this company means he has a far better chance that the outsiders price might suggest, as always a place is the least of my expectations

Finally in the closing 9pm stayers handicap, few wil want to be against Red House Hill, but you know what I'm doing here don't ya! PIROLO is going to be around a 14/1 chance after an abject show here last time on soft ground. Returned to quicker ground and in this company, he could still actually be decently treated having won in may off a mark of 47 against 0-70 rivals. Again a great price if he finds that form in this similar contest
