Selected Tips & Preview Of This Weekend's GAA Senior Club Hurling Fixtures
A possible epic encounter on our hands here with two battle hardened sides. Ballygunner trailed Clare's Sixmilebridge by 5 points at half-time in their semi-final two weeks ago but this team have come through similar situations over recent weeks. They seem to possess that vital quality of game management within their ranks with Pauiric Mahony, Barry Couglan & Stephen O'Keefe to name but a few of their leaders. In JJ Hutchinson, they have a proven scorer, be it points or goals. He bagged 1-3 the last day in an awesome display.
MUNSTER CLUB SHC FINAL ~ NA PIARSAIGH V BALLYGUNNER SUNDAY 2PM
Na Piarsaigh had to make do without Shane Dowling in their semi against Cork's Blackrock but it mattered little as the Limerick champions won by 22 points. He remains sidelined until the New Year and will undoubtedly be missed in the final. They have goal threats coming from the two Breens & Peter Casey while Ronan Lynch can be unscrupulous in his free-taking.

LEINSTER CLUB SHC SEMI-FINAL ~ CUALA V ST MARTINS SUNDAY 2PMCuala saw off the challenge of Kilkenny champions Dicksboro in the quarter-final winning by an impressive seven points. Con O'Callaghan once again excelled, scoring 1-3 and David Treacy was clinical scoring 0-8 from frees.
St Martins showed the exuberance of youth as they beat dominant Wexford side of the decade Oulart-The Ballagh. They've been impressive throughout the year and have some potential stars on their panel. It'll be a step-up for them but they showed they could match an experienced team for physicality with the aforementioned victory under their belt.
