Alaykha has been runner up in two of her three starts and was beaten ½l last time out at Killarney by High Language over 1m3f the step up to 1m4f shouldn't be a problem the trainer & jockey combination of Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen do well at Galway and can take this race.

High Expectations has been in good form of late winning two of his last three races at Tramore & Bellewstown and was only beaten a neck last time out by Lucca in a 23 runner handicap at Navan and looks to have every chance of going in again.

Airlie Beach is a course winner and finished third in the Galway hurdle during the festival beaten 5¼l by Tigris River she won last time out at Tramore beating Game Puppeteer by 4½l and drops back to 1m4f Pat Smullen is on and should go close.

Cairdiuil is a two time winner over c&d and has been placed five times and was runner up at the festival beaten 1½l by Remarkable Lady he saves his best form for Galway and could bounce back from a poor run last time out at Leopardstown.

Penny Jane has been runner up in her last three races and was beaten 2¾l by Rosie Alice last time out at Kilbeggan ten days ago she isn't the easiest to win with but rarely finished out of the money so may be able to go one better and Davy Russell is back on board.
