Carries a light weight today with landers back onboard and a reproduction of its last run here at Galway 3 runs ago when a close up 4th behind FENLONS HILL has every chance in hitting the frame.Is rank outsider judged on its last two runs but is value judged on the previous to that and if finding that sort of form is value today.

JP Macmanus has no less than 5 runners here and KILFENORA is one that appeals.The 5yo is having its 6th run today and previous efforts read well.Won it's Maiden hurdle at 2m on heavy at beginning of the year at Punchestown by some 15L easily beating Noel Meades MR SHOWTIME who is 3 from 5 since including a hurdle win off 124 and is a real talent. Has won off 82 89 up to 93 in its racing career and should be highly competitive here running off 79 over 1m. Recent efforts off 82-84 over further than today and will find this much easier.Best run in recent starts was a second off of 84 over 1m 1f. Comes in as top weight here but jockey takes off 7. The horse is owned and trained by the prendergasts and is a favourite of theres. That aside has won near 250,000 throughout its career and if puts best foot forward is a likely winner.

The selection will have benefited from its 2 reappearance runs after a year off and form at 3m+ reading 1-1-2 previous and last years 3runs reading 1-2-1. Lightly raced since 2015 when trained by Aidan o brein a chance is given today that is fit and ready to put in good run on ground it likes and suitable trip. Will definitely only improve from recent runs and is a capable type if finding form.

An 8 race Maiden and only ever ran at todays trip of 5f.Has shown good speed to date including a great effort on debut ina 5f Maiden at Naas 4th of 20. In recent runs has performed with credit racing off 70 and 72 on heavy ground beat only 2 3/4L and around 3L the last day.Has no problem with big fields the ground looks in its favor and running off a low of 67 here holds every chance for a trainer that does well with these types.

Coming to form now and runs off a career low mark today.Has every chance under hoban who won onboard last year.Likes to front run and if doing so will be bang there.

Athloman cottage may be able to resume progress here on better ground than recent run on heavy where clearly didn't appreciate the awful heavy ground when making progress 2 out but ultimately not picking up enough to threaten. Previous runs saw a good 3rd at todays track over 2m beat just 2 3/4L and proved that run true when beating 15 home at 2m at tramore then. Runs off bottom weight here today and jockey short takes off 7Ib too. Has a good chance on this better ground today and at these odds is value to go well.

5yo Burren life has always looked a potential smart type and has being in the frame in 5 of its 6 runs to date which include a win on return winning it's Maiden by 10L at 2m 4f in Roscommon.Looks a much improved horse this year and will appreciate this ground more than its recent win on heavy.Jack kennady remains onboard and he should get a nice toe into this sitting just off favourite Fabulous saga who is hughly respected.But this will be that ones toughest race to date having beat only 2 on recent win and a moderate field the time before and has being beat twice in second this year including a gordon elliot trained runner who was a 14/1 shot. Burren life can keep on improving and gets the vote today.

Has mega fortune to beat but that possible with that runner may needing the run on seasonal return and never ran at 2m 2f before and has shown jumping errors in the past.Mouse morris may have a smart horse here in BALAKANI who won it's Maiden over 2m 1f latest start by nearly 8L ina 17 runner affair and if the favorite tries make all here could set this up perfectly for the selection and provide an upset. Has a clear bright future over hurdles and is far from out of this 3 runner affair.

Noel Meades lighly raced 6yo is a dark horse here and with recent chasing experience over 2f further finishing second to Montana Belle and having won it's Maiden over hurdles by 13L early in the year and was only few lenghs behind talented Morgan ina novice hurdle.Looks value to hit the frame with the potential to be good enough to win with no ground worries and a drop back to 2m lightly to suit well.

It's early days for the Aga Khan owned runner but all signs thus far in its 3runs are that this Iffraaj colt is a potential class horse in the making and there is no reason why can't pick up a second win after its Maiden Debut win over 7f at the Curragh back in early August. Has run twice since in group2 and group3 far from disgraced in either and looks the type to keep progressing and move on to bigger and better things after this.Top rated runner in this field and should get a good pace from lightly front runner Lake Volta and prove too strong the final furlong with Grace Rafaela the most lighlty to hit the frame behind.But the selection should prove a class above and even more so if leaves all signs of greenness well behind too.

It may pay to take on Declaration of peace here at lightly unbackable odds with BORAGH STEPS.The favorite has failed miserably to live up to expectations since its easy Maiden win here back in May and clearly isn't straight forward and could prove vulnerable here in this which will be highly tactical in small field of 6. The selection Won it's Maiden back in July and aldough hasn't progressed as liked comes in off a nice little break after not really being tried hard on last run ina big field listed at Newbury in middle of August. Aldough on ratings has a nice bit to find with the favorite,tactics will play big role here and may get an uncontested lead while the favorite is out again after 9days after dissapointing as expected at 40/1 in the middlepark and could well be on a steep downward curve which gives BORAGH STEPS the chance to shine for Joseph of brein.
