Ran very well on last run over 2m 6f up to about the 2m 1f pole where practically made all the running jumping well in the process. Had nothing left and ultimately emptied out last few furlongs after doing all the work early. Given the heavy ground here which should suit Polish may get an uncontested lead and it would be foolish to think the selection couldn't win or place at least.Conditions are fine and is given the punt to hold off the rest here some of which may not travel well on this ground. @66-1 is far from a no hoper.

Not only is the selection not ground dependant (winner on good to firm and soft to heavy) no less than four different jockeys have won on this horse since it exploded into life back in April winning over 1m on soft at gowran. Has won at Ayr,Limerick and over coarse and distance also. This horse races prominent and likes to front run and it's only moderate looking run was ina hot handicap at Galway where lost its position got bumped during the race and ultimately not given a hard time and was eased.Clearly is much better than that and that race 6th and today's rival (Sternographer) hasn't shown anything on next run to suggest would be a major threat in this to the selection who is totally forgiven for the Galway run as it obvious didn't run to true merit. Today's jockey onboard is D E Hogan who takes off 7ib.He won over coarse and distance onboard the last day and can do so again here.It's a moderate looking affair with 10yo (BUBBLY BELLINI) looking the main threat. But Not a bad oul Day gets the vote and can make all and hold off any rival who threatens the last furlong. Currently available at 3-1 and higher,looks one of the better bets of the day for sure.

Dubai is Great is highly respected as is Sebastiano Ricci who has shown ability already but Clueless Hill who ran with huge promice on its sole start over 1m 8 days ago gets the vote to fill a place.Its lightly the drop in trip will suit and tactically may have the upperhand and may make the running. It's early days for the 2yo but it's hard to knock it's effort on debut and clearly needs respecting in this small field.

Competitive looking affair but one that stands out as a totally underestimated runner is RED PERSIAN currently the outsider of the field at double figure odds. This 2yo from p j prendergasts yard owned by the Persian red syndicate is far from a no hoper in this. Has five runs to date and only made debut in May,the form is there for the selection to win here. Unraced at this trip so far and it looks likely to suit. On debut finished 1 3/4L 2nd at 6f behind (BECKFORD)-who won the (Group2)Railway stakes on next start followed by a close second in the (Group1)Phoenix stakes.So the form of the selections run is rock solid. Second run saw another second at 6f behind (WHITEFOUNTAINFAIRY)-who narrowly missed out in the 7f (Group1 for fillies)Prestige stakes at Goodwood on its last run. Red Persian then won at 7f at Leopardstown before disappointing on its last two runs at 7f ina group3 and a listed race.Judged on those runs it seems the horse is crying out for a drop in trip and judged on its first two runs at 6f it looked 5f is the way to go despite a 7f win the the process. Jockey whealen has being on board since debut and should now know the horse very well. Red Persian looks a danger to all here on first run at 5f

Jockey Paul townend knows this horse well and has won 3 times onboard to date. Comes in off the back of 3 chase runs winning one and ran well in another. Last time the selection ran over hurdles it won and it's overall profile and form to date suggest this race is well within capabilities. Ground is no problem and distance looks ideal.Will enjoy the return to hurdling and can carry top weight to victory here with Uptake most likely setting a decent Gallop.

Has the form in the book to win here and is available at big odds.A proven stayer a proven chaser and hurdler Heist who ran yester day at an unsuitable trip shouldn't be judged too harshly on it.Second run on irish soil now.Has won twice this year and is as good a chaser as hurdler and very capable here if ridden more attackinly.NAP
