Pursecco has won twice and placed three times from 11 starts. Wins were in july and august last year but did place last time out when 3rd of 12 at Tramore on 18th august past. Shortall rides for the first time and claims 3lbs. Each way chance.

Born To Size has only placed once in five runs. 2nd of 14 at Tipperary on 23rd July. Didn’t follow up well at Tramore when last out on 18th August but should be back in form today. Burke rides this gelding for the first time.

Mr Nicholls has only started twice and won on debut last September at Clonmel. Only managed 5th of 13 at Ballinrobe this July under todays jockey Carroll but hopefully gets back to original performance. A few extra furlongs today. Each way chance.

Sister Blandina hasn’t won since last October but has placed regularly including last time out here at Gowran Park in August. Todays jockey Linehan won on this filly at Killarney in July last year and in two rides since placed at Naas and Limerick in April this year. Each way chance.

Saga Altais has yet to win after five starts and best performances were with previous yard of JM Barrett. Byrne rides today and claims 10lbs. Inexperience is a bit of a worry but should still feature in the race.

Twist Of Magic hasn’t won since September last year but has placed acouple of times since, latest at Galway on 31st July. Keane got that placing and rides again today. Each way chance.

Punches Pious hasn’t won since here at Gowran in June and hasn’t impressed since. Capable of better on previous form and should feature today. Unknown jockey at time of writing does cast a shadow though. Each way chance,

Amor Fati has only started twice under todays jockey McCullagh. Both runs were at the Curragh last month and only slightly progressed in the placings although a long shot off. Think this colt can do better giving breeding. Each way chance today.

Palavicini Run won back in July under todays jockey O’Connor. Has only placed once since but if back to form today should manage a placing. Each way opportunity.

Molans Mare had a good placing at Naas back on 8th July this year. Bit inconsistent but will be interesting to see how this mare runs on this surface. Each way chance tonight. Miss O’Neill claims 5 lbs.

Commander Won has had mixed fortunes from 12 runs with only 3 placings. Heffernan doesn’t have a great strike rate on this gelding and will be looking to improve on previous performances today. Each way chance.

Magnetic force placed at Tipperary in a chase on 23rd July under AE Lynch who rides again today. Didn’t follow up well at Downpatrick when last out but will give this gelding the benefit of the doubt today and hope for Lynch’s experience with this one.

No Way Jack placed last time out at Gowran Park on 16th august and generally manages to be up there in the placings on a regular basis. Short odds for an each way bet today but still worthy of a place in an each way lucky 15 to hopefully boost the chances.

Naughty Molly has done well recently despite not winning since 2013. Managed placings in the last three races at Wexford, Limerick and Tramore. Nothing to suggest at least a place here today.

Bringthehousedown has yet to place in two starts but showed great improvement from an 11th of 17 last October at Leopardtown to a 6th of 13 at the Curragh this July. Also shortened the distance behind the winner by a big margin. Each way chance today.

Our Dougal has managed 2 wins and 6 placings from 19 runs. Won at Killarney on 20th July under todays jockey AE Lynch. Failed to follow up last time out but should get back to form today and make a placing. Each way chance.

Kozy has only started three times but has progressed from 7th of 8, to 6th of 10, to 2nd of 8 when last out at Tramore on 19th August. Back to McCullagh riding today and hopefully he can improve on the first two starts.

Castlewhite left point to point over the summer and had debut at Tramore on 20th August in a chase. Managed a 2nd of 13. Chancing hurdles today but should still manage a place with Enright on board. Each way chance.

Red Persian is the outsider in this one but has had 1 win and 2 places from 5 starts. Best performances were in May and June at the Curragh Fairyhouse and Leopardstown but failed to follow up at Leopardstown and Tipperary in July and August. Hopefully back to form today.

West Light did well last autumn and after a break of 302 days returned to Tipperary in July to manage only a 13th of 18. Showed progress in the last outing last month at Sligo when managing a 5th of 14. Hopefully progressing enough to get a place today.
